Did you know that the Animal Care Clinic offers Laparoscopy Spays?

Laparoscopy Ovariohysterectomy is the medical term for sterilizing (spaying or fixing) a female animal. The procedure consists of removing both ovaries and the uterus. This procedure is done through three very small incisions. This is currently the least invasive and least painful way of sterilizing a female animal. Laparoscopic ovariohysterectomy requires general anesthesia and a sterile operationg technique. The three incisions are close with sutures that may or may not need to be removed, depending on your veterinarian's preference.
